01 - YOU PACK & SEND
Pack a backpack or order supplies, choose a country or CarePoint (or let us choose), and ship it.
02 - We Receive & Sort
Your gift is logged and sorted at our US hub. Designated gifts go where you chose; the rest go where the need is greatest.
03 - It Ships to the Field
Everything ships together in late August, timed to each country's school year.
04 - The Country Team Receives It
Local Children's Cup teams take it from there, getting supplies to each CarePoint.
05 - A Kid Gets It
Handed directly to a student, or stocked in a classroom for the new term.
06 - You See It Land
We send you a photo and story from the field. You're not just where this started — you're part of how it ends.
why pack a backpack?
When a kid opens a backpack that someone across the world chose, packed, and sent just for them, it says something a store-bought item never could: someone who's never met you decided you were worth it. That's not charity. That's a friend showing up.
It's also good stewardship. In several of the countries we serve, school supplies cost more locally than they do here so shipping in bulk costs the same or less than buying on the ground. You get to be hands-on and it's a responsible use of the gift.
Every donation is logged from the moment it arrives to the moment it's handed to a kid. If you designate a country or CarePoint, that's where it goes. If you don't, we send it where the need is greatest — and either way, we tell you where it lands.

Pack a backpack using our age-group guide, register it to get your tracking number, add $5 for shipping, and send it our way. We’ll take it from there.

SEND IT by August 15*
Register your backpack. This is the step that lets you watch it land. You'll get a tracking number by email, printed on a packing slip. Tuck the slip in with your backpack. That number is how we match your gift to the kid who opens it, and how we send you the photo when it arrives.
Sending more than one backpack? Register each one separately so every backpack gets its own tracking number. $5 helps cover shipping per backpack, not per person. Sending three? That's $15.
